Material and Process Development

The following pages document the making of components used throughout the installation and video works. Materials are sourced from domestic, natural and industrial contexts and shaped through casting, carving, stitching, soldering and assemblage. The process of working by hand is central to how meaning emerges and forms develop through repetition, texture and the logic of materials themselves. Each image is annotated with details about technique, material source and how these choices connect to the critical ideas behind the work.
